- In the latest week, sales reached £2.20b; £38m higher than the same time last year but a drop of -2.7% on last weeks’ sales
- Since the “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme has started we have seen a gradual decline in sales, this week looks to have had a notable impact – around 64 million meals have been claimed in the first 3 weeks. Last years sales this week have seen an increase due to the Saturday in the Bank Holiday Weekend falling in this period
- Of the +1.7% growth in Total Store sales vs a year ago, Grocery sales increased +1.5% and Non Food grew +2.6%
